And at this time, they need people like us to twist messages. Society of Malaysia today has much more aggressiveness and their IQ is higher. They know the power of evaluation and the power to choose and decide on their own. I somehow think politicians need to learn about being young. They think they are young enough but actually they aren't. And then, they would say "I am young at heart"...trust me my friend, you aren't even there yet.
Why? Its simply because they don't really treat youths well. I still remember those times when the authorities raided music gigs and stated that the youths were into black metal stuff. I didnt think I was into mantera stuff or any black-ish by entering music gigs. We were beaten and it was chaotic. A Gig is another form of crowd entertainment or a mini concert for underground musicians, independent artists to perform their music creations. Those raids became something that youths of today will never forget and I guess that has effected the previous election.
The "Being Young" value is actually joining the crowds. You want people to buy your product or your ideas then you will need to put yourself in the shoes of your customers or clients. Which also i didn't mean that a 50-year-old politician should attend music gigs or whatever occasions related. It is just as simple as being a good listener and measure those suggestions before decide whats best to offer.
Looking at the current situation, we have many young politicians who are fighting for the youths rights. Sometimes they face nonsense challenges by the adults just because they are joining politics at young but why must we see any harm? Adults are sometimes too egoistic, easily being judgemental and too close minded, and take this as a weird advantage because we actually do not share the same competition.
